A12 chip was introduced by Apple very long ago on 12 September 2018, till this date it is said to be one of the most powerful Apple chips ever, even if Apple as introduced their latest A14 chip, A12 chip is reffered as one of the best chips ever.
QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 888 is the latest and most powerful Android chipset current. We get to see this powering the latest FLAGSHIP of android. a12 vs snapdragon 888 comparison will be the most tough comparison according to me because, both chips are very powerful and efficient in performance and optimization.
ABOUT QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 888 CHIP
This is the latest and most powerful chipset ever launched by QUALCOMM. According to some experts this chipset is one of the best chipset ever because, this chipset’s performance is great and this is well optimised.
If you recall, after SNAPDRAGON 865 QUALCOMM has directly introduced SNAPDRAGON 888, the next move of QUALCOMM should have been SNAPDRAGON 875. They have named it SNAPDRAGON 888 because to showcase that they have improved this chipset quite a bit. The big highlight is that it’s still eight core processor.
ABOUT APPLE A12 BIONIC CHIP
As you all know Apple is a famous brand which produces only Flagship devices of best quality and with best ultimate beastly specifications. a12 bionic chip is the successor of a11 bionic chipset which was launched by APPLE prior to a12 chip, which was also regarded as one of the best chips ever introduced into the i phone. This a12 chipset gives a beast performance in gaming, as well as in normal usage. a12 chipset was introduced by APPLE on 12 September 2018.

My frank Openion is that even if the a12 chip is a bit older than Snapdragon 888, a12 is well optimised which saves the battery in phones and also gives a good smooth performance.

CPU FABRICATION PROCESS is referred as the size of the semiconductors used while building the processors.
We get to see 7 nm process in both chips which is a great thing i would say. Lately many improvements have been done in this processing of chipsets. Qualcomm and Appe both have introduced 5nm chip process and its a nice thing i would say.
