Battle Grounds Mobile India (BGMI) is a indian version of PUBG mobile. It was launched recently and millions of the people in India are playing this game. BGMI is very similar to PUBG MOBILE but there are some minute changes that have been made in this game which are actually not noticeable at all. In today’s date more than 1 crore people are playing BGMI in India. The most disappointing fact is this game can be played only in India.

The heavy games like Call of duty mobile, PUBG and War Robots usually drains lots of battery quickly from your smartphone nd so do BGMI, this happens because when you play heavy games like PUBG, your smartphones processor balances the game to run smoothly and this actually depends on the processor, more powerful the processor less battery is drained. As the processor works constantly when your game is running leads to the rapid battery drain.

This blog includes tips to improve your battery life while playing BGMI. Read the blog till the end and it will definitely help you in reducing your smartphone’s quick battery draining problem. In this blog the tips which have been written are 100% working, some tips are more effective where some are less effective. TIPS TO REDUCE BATTERY DRAIN WHILE PLAYING BGMI

DON’T USE BATTERY SAVER APPS

There are tons of third party apps on Playstore named as battery savers, in reality they literally do nothing good to your smartphone but they definitely damage your smartphone’s health. When you download these applications on your smartphones they ask for permissions to allow them to display over other apps on your device this leads to major battery drain because these apps also need your smartphone’s battery power to function. So don’t ever install such third party apps even if they have got very good reviews.

UNINSTALL USELESS APPS ON YOUR SMARTPHONE

To reduce the battery drain of your smartphone uninstall the apps which you don’t use. This leads to the improvement of your smartphone’s battery life. Some inbuilt apps such as calendar, news, music are useless, so just uninstall such useless stuff.

USE LITE VERSIONS OF SOCIAL MEDIA

If you use Facebook, Instagram, Messenger etc just switch on to the lite versions of those apps. This reduces your smartphone’s battery consumption in the background which actually enhances your smartphone’s battery life while gaming.

DON’T PLAY/USE PHONE WHILE CHARGING

Most of us play games like BGMI when our smartphone is charging, because the battery drains very quickly if the smartphone is not on charge. Nowadays smartphones are designed in such a way that your smartphone’s battery can resist the overload. But playing heavy games while your phone is on charge may be risky and it definitely damages your smartphone’s battery due to the overpressure on it, so avoid playing games or using the smartphone while it’s still charging.

ON NETWORK & LOCATION ONLY WHEN NEEDED

The most common mistake we make is we keep our phone’s location on and this consumes battery in the background. Similarly most of us unnecessarily keep Bluetooth & WiFi on all the time, this also leads to some minute amount of battle drain.

On your location only whenever it’s necessary and off it when you don’t need location services. I recommend you turn off your mobile data whenever you’re not using your phone.

ENABLE APPS OPTIMISATION

App optimisation is very important in order to reduce the battery drain. Some apps may not support optimization and these apps run in background and lead to rapid battery drain. Make sure that all the apps on your phone are optimised. You can check the app’s optimization from your smartphone’s settings.

CHANGE SOME SETTINGS DEVELOPER OPTION

Developer option is a hidden feature in all smartphones. To enable it follow the steps

  1. Go to your phone’s settings.
  2. Click on About Device / About Phone.
  3. In About Device, you get an option called Build number. Tap 7 to 8 times on build number and you will unlock the developer option.

  • Inside the developer option you get to see lots of stuff, search for transition animation scale and you’ll find three animation scales. Just click on them and tap on off animation, do this for all three. This actually removes the unnecessary animations of your smartphone and improves the battery life.
  • The developer option has a section named “Hardware accelerated rendering” ; this is the section related to your smartphone’s performance. In that make sure that Force GPU rendering and Force 4X MSAA is off. Keeping these options on improves your phones performance but increase in phones performance is directly proportional to rapid battery drain.
  • In the developer option at the bottom you get to see a section named “Background processes limit” ; by default it will be set to standard limit. You need to set it to At Most 2 processes, this actually limits the background processes which take place on your phone in the background when the phone is off. This saves some little amount of your phone’s battery.

FORCE STOP THE BATTERY DRAINING APPS AFTER USE

We use some of the apps very rarely on our Smartphone, but we don’t want to uninstall them. In this scenario you can just force stop such apps from their app info. This contributes to enhancing your phone’s battery life.

BGMI – GAME SETTINGS

It is very important to set proper graphic settings in the game. If you set your game graphics to high it drains more battery, if you set it to low it reduces the battery drain.

  • Open BGMI click to the game settings and make sure that you have set the graphics to smooth or balanced. Even if your phone supports HD and HDR don’t prefer it because it drains battery and increases your phones temperature, because setting game’s graphics to HD or HDR makes your phone’s processor work with pressure.

Frame rate must be set to max, that is the maximum frame rate which your phone supports. This helps the game to function smoothly, it reduces the load on the processor and reduces battery drain.
