LAUNCH INFO
Motorola on July 29, 2021 announced the official launch of Motorola Edge 20 pro and they highlighted the camera performance of the smartphone. This phone is not yet launched as of now, it is expected to be coming soon into the market and the rumors have been spread that this phone will be shortly launched in the third week of August.

GSM / CDMA / HSPA / EVDO / LTE / 5G
This is a 5G Smartphone and this device supports 1,3,5,8,28,41,77,78 SA/NSA/Sub6 5G bands. Though the 5G network is not yet available in India the smartphone brands are now in the race of producing 5G phones and I think after a year or two most of them will be having 5G phones in their hands.

BODY / BUILD QUALITY
The body material of this phone is definitely metallic this time because this is a flagship smartphone. The phone’s build quality is not the best but good i would say. If the phone has a metallic body and frame the phone looks classy.
The reality is people in India don’t look at the build quality of the phone they mainly focus on Cameras, battery and stuff. But some people with smartphone knowledge may refuse to purchase phones with a cheap build quality. I hope this phone’s build quality will be good.
This phone’s size is huge compared to other recently launched smartphones. The dimensions of the phone is 163 x 76 x 8mm. These dimensions may vary a bit depending on color. This phone may weigh about 185 to 190 grams. This factor may also differ depending on color.
If we take a deep look into the dimensions of the Motorola Edge 20 pro smartphone, the size of the smartphone appears to be huge but it is helpful for the people who like huge screen phones and the useful thing of having a huge screen phone is it provides a very good experience while watching videos on it.

You can insert two Nano-SIMs since it has dual sim slots with dual standby mode.

Motorola Edge 20 pro has the OLED, HDR10+ display with 144Hz maximum refresh rate. Actually if we compare this brand’s new smartphone to their old Smartphones they have improved a lot. This time Motorola has provided their smartphone with a quality display which works pretty good if you are using the phone in the sunlight. It actually manipulates the brightness and makes the screen visibility convenient whenever it’s needed.
The screen size is extremely huge as i said before, it has a 6.7 inches screen that is 110.2 cm². The phone’s screen to body ratio is approximately 89.0%. It’s screen resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio with approximately 385 ppi density.
PLATFORM
Motorola Edge 20 pro runs on the latest Android version that is Android 11 and soon Android 12 update will be available for this device. This phone has a stock Android look in it and the launcher of the phone is pretty simple similar to Google Phones. This phone is powered by the Qualcomm SM8250-AC Snapdragon 870 5G chipset which is based on 7 nm technology. This is one of the most powerful chipset as of now.

The provided chipset in this phone by the company is a powerful one and it will definitely boost the performance of the Smartphone and the provided GPU also improves the performance while gaming and also the overall performance of the smartphone.

Motorola Edge 20 pro has a very good camera provided by the company. This is a sort of camera centric smartphone. Dual-LED flash, panorama, HDR options are available. The following are the camera details.

This smartphone has a very good speaker quality as most of the Motorola smartphones do. There is no headphone jack provided in this phone. Most of the brands are restricting the physical headphone jack due to this in upcoming days headphone jacks will completely disappear.

BATTERY
The phone has a Li-Po battery with 4500 mAh capacity which is sealed inside and it’s non removable. It supports 30W Fast charging and you will be able to charge the phone completely within 2 hours.
The battery capacity provided is a bit disappointing because, nowadays all smartphone brands provide their smartphones with huge batteries who’s capacity will usually be more than 5000mAh but surprisingly Motorola has provided a 4500mAh battery in this phone. No issues actually because the phones can be charged quickly.
PRICE
Motorola Edge 20 pro smartphones price is expected to be around ₹61,000.
