OPPO RENO 7 PRICE IN INDIA – LAUNCH DATE – LEAKS AND MORE.

Share

BBK ELECTRONICS is ready for its Reno 7 series launch, there won’t be a Reno 7 Pro Plus version, so instead, we may see a lower-end smartphone named Reno 7 SE. This leaves the Reno7 Pro on top of the Oppo series.

Specifications Of OPPO RENO 7

Anyway, our research reports suggest that the Oppo Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro share a good lump of hardware.

Reno 6 is rumoured to have built around a 6.5-inch OLED panel, but the refresh rate will settle for 90Hz. Unfortunately we won’t be getting a 120 Hz refresh rate in the Oppo Reno 7, while the higher variant that is Reno 7 Pro will be having a higher 120Hz refresh rate.

Finally, the Reno7 SE is expected to be a compact phone with a smaller 6.43-inch 90Hz display and it will be powered by Dimensity 920 chip and up to 12GB/256GB memory, I’m not sure if the 12GB variant will be available in India.

The chipsets will be the same as their predecessors – the vanilla will run on the Dimensity 1200 SoC while the Pro will be powered by the most powerful Snapdragon 888. 8GB and 12GB RAM options will be made available in India, coupled with up to 256GB of internal storage. It is good that they always provide this in their flagships.

BATTERY

This smartphone series will have the same 4,500 mAh battery and 65W fast charging support as that of the early Reno 6 series. This fast charger of 65W charges this device in 45 minutes. A smaller 4,300 mAh battery is supposed to keep the lights on but with the same 65W fast charging.

CAMERA AND SENSORS

The camera setup looks the same as Oppo Reno 6, it has two – 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensors joined by a 16MP ultrawide camera and 2MP unit for depth sensing, this depth sensing camera isn’t of any use, these cameras are being used to make the phone look attractive and mainly for showing off. Whereas the Pro will make use of Samsung’s 50MP GN5 sensor for clicking awesome shots, OmniVision’s 64MP OV64B snapper for clicking ultrawide images and a 13MP telephoto camera.

Just like the other two smartphones, the front facing camera will be a 32MP selfie camera, while on the back, the Reno 7 SE will be having a modest 64MP OmniVision OV64B primary camera with a 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide shooter which does a good job actually, this was tested in other phones with the same sensors and a 2MP depth sensor for portraits which also does the good job too..

LAUNCH INFO

As of now (31/10/21), we have no exact official info on the release date, but our research suggests this smartphone series will be launched and available before the last week of November 2021. The information above seems to be mostly in line with a previous leak from October 2021.
