MOTO G60 and MOTO G40 FUSION

Hey guys hope you all are doing good, and welcome to my second blog. In this blog am going to talk about two Motorola smartphones which were recently launched
MOTO G60
MOTO G40 FUSION

Now lets talk about Moto G60, the main highlight of this phone is its battery because it has a huge and powerful battery of 6000mAh. These phones are not flagship phones but they are budget phones.

Now lets talk about the unboxing review of the Smartphone.

  • The main highlight on the box is the 108 MP camera.
  • The box looks pretty cool and it has three seals and well packed.
  • Inside the box the smartphone looks elegant and it is highlighted that it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G ( 8nm Octa-core) processor and its pretty powerful processor which we’ll not get in any other smartphones of this price range.
  • The phone inside the box is pre-installed with a back case, Motorola’s doing this quite a bit in their smartphones.
  • Inside the box apart from the phone there is a A to C type charging cable and obviously a sim ejector tool with a charging adaptor of 20W (which is Qualcomm quick charge 4 certified). Earlier motorola used to provide 15W chargers for their smartphones.
  • This phone has a huge battery of 6000mAh.

Now if we talk about the physical overview of the Smartphone.

  • It has a huge screen of 6.8 inch, full HD+
  • At the top of the phone it has a 3.5mm headphones jack and beside it has a secondary noise cancellation microphone.
  • At the back of the phone we get a triple camera setup about which am gonna talk later in the blog do refer it!
  • The back of the Smartphone is made up of polycarbonate plastic kind of material, i suggest to use the phone with the back case which is provided by the brand or do buy one. There is a finger print scanner which is rare mounted with motorola logo on it.
  • at the right side of the phone it has a dedicated google assistant key, a volume rocker and a power on off button. There is a slight pattern on the power button, you can feel it by touching.
  • At the bottom of the Smartphone you get to see a speaker grill and a type C charging port and your main microphone.
  • Simtray is present at the left side of the phone, as expected it has a hybrid sim slot. Rubber gasket is present at the corner of the simtray.
  • According to Motorola this phone is splash proof.

This Moto G60 comes with only one varient 6GBLPDDR4×RAM and 128 GB of storage (6/128)
And it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G (8nm, octacore) processor. This is a quite powerful processor and enhances the performance of the phone.

Now if we talk about the camera:

it has a 108 MP camera system, i have uploaded some camera samples in the later part of the blog including macro photos and sample shots. It has a triple camera system but actually it acts like a quadcamera because, wide angle lens is 8MP. It also can do macro with autofocus- it does the dual job of ultrawide and macro lens but again we have that
2MP camera. The front facing camera is 32MP. i must mention that the camera is of top quality and the autofocus is very convincing.

Now if we look into the phone:

The Smartphone has a 6.8 inch screen, Full HD+
The OS is very near to stock android, that’s the beauty if motorola devices.
It contains Moto specific apps apart from that its does not contain any junky apps and ad like MI, VIVO phones, thats one of the good things about Motorola smartphones.
FACEBOOK,FM RADIO are pre-installed in this smartphone but you can easily disable these applications if you are not interested in them
It has NFC, carrier aggregation, Bluetooth 5.0
This smartphone consists of THINKSHIELD, about which I’ll discuss briefly later in the blog.

Now if we look into the settings of this smartphone, it has a typical android layer. If you go to the disply settings the default refresh rate will be set to auto but you can set it to 120 Hz refresh rate to get that smooth fluid experience. According to slme reviewers using 120 Hz refresh rate may cause battery drain but according to me it has that huge battery of 6000mAh, so there must be no battery issues.

Now if we go to about phone:

  • Android version is Android 11 which is the latest one (the motorola company has confirmed that this smartphone will get the Android 12 updates)
  • Regarding android security updates Motorola will release these updates quarterly.
  • It has a clean UI very near to stock android.

Now if we speak about the speaker the speakers are quite loud enough and nothing to complain about them.

The issue about the fingerprint scanner is, it is placed very near to the camera slot and not comfortable to hold and unlock. Another thing i noticed was that the fingerprint scanner is fairly responsive but takes quater of second to unlock the phone and doesn’t unlock the phone instantly.

Now if we talk about the pricing of this Moto G60. It costs about 17999/- almost 18k but if you use ICICI bank account or card to buy this smartphone you will get a discount of 1500/- . So isn’t this a ver good deal!
