Hey people, welcome to my BLOG-05.

Today I am going to talk about ONE OF THE BEST SAMSUNG FLAGSHIP PHONE. That is SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G. As you all know last year Samsung had launched the same phone but it was a 4G phone with EXYNOS processor, now this time they have launched the modified version of that phone with SNAPDRAGON 865 processor. This looks very interesting isn’t it? Come lets know more about this SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G.

UNBOXING EXPERIENCE

• If we talk about the box of this phone, it looks clean and simple with white colour.

• On the box there is a main highlight of 5G and the processor Snapdragon 865. Last year they had launched the phone with EXYNOS processor but many of you wanted this SNAPDRAGON varient, finally samsung has launched this SNAPDRAGON varient in India. It’s a good thing that Samsung India is listening to the consumers. In my books it’s a thumbs up to Samsung.
• If we open the box we get to see a clean white layout with lots of papers, warrenty guide and many more stuff.
• We get a sim ejector tool
• No case is provided in the box which is not a nice thing because most of the brands provide this case even if it is not of a good quality. According to me this is very disappointing.
• Now if we look at the device it looks good inside the box, it is wrapped with a transparent cover.
• Apart from phone we get a USB C type cable for charging and data transfer.
• We get a 15W charger in the box with the phone. The thing is that the phone supports 25W fast charging, they should have provided 25W charger. Again disappointed with this move of samsung.

Thats all we get inside the box. 

PHYSICAL OVERVIEW OF SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G

• The Smartphone looks very elegant and it has that premium look.
• If we look at the back of the phone, it’s made up of polycarbonate plastic back.
• Even if it’s back is made up of plastic this phone supports WIRELESS CHARGING to be honest the wireless charging is very fast and the REVERSE WIRELESS CHARGING is also very quick. Thats very impressive.
• SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G comes with the following colours.

• If we look at the camera section, it has a TRIPLE CAMERA SETUP. Here the intresting thing is that all three cameras have different functions and none of them are fake or without any function all cameras have different functions to perform, about which you will get to know in the following part of the blog.

• If we talk about the weight of the phone it weighs about 190g, not super heavy or not super light. I would say it has a decent weight.
• At the top of the phone you get to see a sim tray and a secondary noise cancellation microphone.
• The Sim tray has two nano sim slots or one nano sim and a hybrid solution.
• At the right side of the phone there is a Volume rocker and a Power on off button.
• At the bottom of the handset There is a speaker grill (stereo speakers) , charging C type port and a main microphone.
• At the left side of the phone there is nothing and just a plain surface.
• There is a decent Samsung branding at the back of the phone.
• This phone has a screen of 6.5″ FHD+ SUPER AMOLED (120Hz refresh rate)

• This handset has a battery of 4500 mAh with 25W fast charging support. I would say this is a decent battery capacity that Samsung has provided.

• This handset has IP68 rating.

SPECIFICATIONS OF SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G

• It comes with only one varient as for now that is 8GB RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.1) STORAGE.

• This phone runs on SAMSUNG ONE UI which is a smooth UI and looks pretty simple.

•  For some reasons NFC was not in the toggles but you can put it back but enabling its settings.

• There are lots of SAMSUNG APPS which are pre-installed (samsung pay, samsung themes, samsung play etc). They cannot be uninstalled since there are inbuilt.
• Many other apps like Netflix, Facebook were pre-installed and if you don’t need them you can just uninstall.
• Apart from these apps no junkware could be seen and the UI is very clean.
• There is always on option, by default its not enabled but you can enable it in setting. This can enhance the quick reply on messages.
• There is a indisplay fingerprint scanner which works very fine and its very responsive as it works quickly.
• There is also the face unlocking feature you can also enable it in the settings.
• Everything runs smoothly because this phone runs on the powerful chipset and the screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz.
• The gaming performance is very good and no lags could be seen while gaming and no heating issues could be observed.

ABOUT PHONE SETTINGS IN SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G

• This handset had this powerful SNAPDRAGON 865 (Octa Core) chipset.

• If we look into the software information, this phone runs on Android 11 which is a latest version of android. I hope they’ll release the Android 12 update very soon for this device.
• The UI is SAMSUNG ONE UI 3. I hope 3.1 update comes to this device in no time.

CAMERA OF SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G

• This phone has a triple camera set-up, as i said before all cameras are functional and none is fake.
• Main camera is 12MP (f 1.8, OIS) for Ultrawide shots + 8MP which is telephoto camera + 12MP which has a telephoto  optical zoom(IOS) which is a wide angle camera. You can zoom upto 30x but till 10x you will get a decent clarity photos. If you zoom more than 10x the clarity of the image may decrease.

• The front camera is 32MP (hole punch)

• With the front camera the 4K videos can be recorded. This is a very fascinating thing about the camera of this SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G.
• As i said before all cameras are functional and no gimmicks. 

PRICING OF SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G

As this is a flagship smartphone, obviously this will cost a bit more than normal midrange phones.

The MRP of SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE 5G is 56000/- but as of now Samsung is giving a instant discount of 8000/- thats a cash back, that works out to about 48000/-
